he picked up dd today and i said to him could you get dd some new wellies as her old ones are getting bit tight. he said he would look and tell me where i could get some. i am lp on benefits and the maintenance money won't go through yet, he knows this.

then he happened to mention to dd that he was taking her out to tea at a aplce which can be wee bit pricey. so i said well if you can afford to take her out, you can afford to get her wellies.

or should i have posted this as aibu? sorry for quick op have little time left on library pc.

tia xx

bloody men!!

I asked ex H if he could just get the boys feet measured while in town (didn't ask him to get them shoes), and he said "That's a bit of a woman's job", and didn't take them!

I once asked ex to but ds some school shoes, at a time when he was paying £50 a month maintenence for 2 dc, he was taking them for a weekend away in a hotel!!!!!! He bought ds Timberland boots, a complete waste of money, he never worte them, too difficult to get on & off and I had to buy the school shoe!

Do you think it's just the fact that we ask that makes the answer an automatic 'no'? I always get the kids to ask now, if they want something. Shouldn't use them, I know, but he says no to blardy everything I ask for.

how frustrating for you fransmom. I think some men get a kick out of it, it's a power thing.

brightwell do you still have the boots...ebay?

hi pc and all xx

well, i heard from him this morning. i think i had asked dd to mention it to her dad and lo and behold, he is getting her some boots. arse. he has turned round and said that that is what he pays maintenance for. if she did not need them now, i would not have asked you pillock. i can only afford to get her wellies from matalan and as they did not have any in her size, i had to ask him. he took her into adams, knowing full well i have to catch the bus to get there, this will add at least £2.70 or £3 on top of the cost of the boots.

pc i will email you soon take care xx
