Would it look desperate to send another message?[blush}

charliecat · 31/05/2008 18:10

yes

Pinkchampagne · 31/05/2008 18:10

I have never used a dating site, but I probably wouldn't send another message - I would move onto someone else!

mybrainaches · 31/05/2008 18:12

Step away from the computer, until the moment passes.

Pinkchampagne · 31/05/2008 18:12

Have you already done it?!

mybrainaches · 31/05/2008 18:13

Turn this on its head, if you got a message and you did not want to reply to it, would you feel stalked if three weeks later they sent you a nudge ??

I would.

Pinkchampagne · 31/05/2008 18:16

Yes, leave it. You never know, he might be on holiday or something, and will reply later! Don't send another though - you have done your bit - the ball is in his court now.

mybrainaches · 31/05/2008 18:17

I suppose

But but but, maybe he's on holiday, or or his internet connections down

Ok Ok, will hunt for a better fish.

depends which dating site it is. If his subscription ended then he wouldnt have been able to read or reply to your message. He might resubscribe soon

gillybean2 · 31/05/2008 22:17

If it's a dating site that you have to pay to read your mail he might not have paid yet or this month for some reason so might not e able to read your mail. Also I think some let you read the mail but only let you reply if you are a paid up member. That might be why you haven't got a reply. If it is the case then he can't be that serious in his search or has found someone or given up.

mybrainaches · 31/05/2008 22:20

Yes you do have to pay to read private messages, and I sent a private message, rather than a free one. d'oh.

sorry POF is plentyoffish.com

madamez · 31/05/2008 23:00

FFS let him go. Maybe he's met his dream woman already. Maybe his mates put his name on the site for a windup and he's still trying to explain it to his DW. Maybe he's a disgusting smelly pigface who puts up pics of a male model to see how many responses he can get.
Whatever the reason, He's Not That Into You, so move on and find another bloke to stalk try out.
