Ex rant

I'm just home from a night duty and ds has greeted me with "cos dad can't have us next weekend(obviously got something more important to do) he's swapped weekends and is having us the following one" Gggrrrr it really annoys me that he thinks he can just change arrangements. I spoke with him about this on Friday, suggested if he needed/wanted to change weekend arrangements, the responsible thing to do would to do would be to speak to me first. What is so difficult. Well we're going camping the following weekend so unless he chooses to speak to me before then he'll have a wasted journey. He's just had dd for an extra weekend, ds didn't want to go. In the last year I've asked him to change arrangements once.

Your ex shouldn't be relaying messages through your son, you stick to your plans and if he cant have the children this weekend then he goes without for 2 weeks, give him a call and ask for an explanation

I'm feeling a bit vindictive and am very tempted to say nothing and just letting him turn up here "to collect dc" but unfornunately due to prior a engagement we won't be at home. Even if the weather is bad we're going camping!
