Not that I want it to be me, her and XP its more that my parents are away and I haven't managed to organise anything. I was going to go to a local event but it was outdoors so I don't suppose it will be on now. Meanwhile DD is bening extremely demanding. We usually go to toddler group on a monday so I can't help wishing it was a normal day. Although I know that if I worked mondays usually I'd be glad to be off! So what to do with a 20 m old on a very rainy day?

maybe you could go to your local library. I think ours is doing a story time this afternoon or you could just go get a few books out. worth a try perhaps and wont cost you anything

I never do much on bank holidays. I find them quite depressing days as everyone else seems to be off doing family things. It was the same when I was with ex H though, as he was always working on them.
The grim weather doesn't help, alongside the fact I don't drive though!

Today, ex H finished work early, so has taken the boys for a couple of hours, and I am thinking I should really get off the PC & sort my house out!

Stayed over at PILs last night. Went for meal and lots of wine. Then this morning we called at my parents, saw my sister and boyfriend, and my brother. Then went for lunch with my parents. Just having an hour vegging, then going to a friends house for BBQ

BBq Hulababy? You must be somewhere far away from me the weather has been awful all day. Charlotte I wish I'd seen your post earlier, I didn't think libraries opened on bank holidays, good to know next time though. In the end my friend came round for a short while which at least distracted DD from her big tantrum that she was having. And we ate chip shop chips, naughty!Pinkchampagne it was same for me whn was with XP too as he often did his own thing. At least now I can choose what to do to a certain extent.
