How to navigate it all

Hi,

I've recently come to realise that not only am I a single parent, I'm a lone parent.
I think I've done pretty well so far, however I'm now looking for full time work, I currently work 3 days a week but my son starts school in September and I need the extra £.
I've been looking for jobs some with flexibility and some without, but I really need the flexibility.

How does everyone navigate it all, I don't have much help during working week and it's pretty much me on my own.

Does your DS's school offer wraparound care (breakfast club and after school club)? That used to give me the flexibility with work if I had to be in early or was running late. If not, Childminders, Registered Childminders, Find a Childminder - Childcare.co.uk have a category for after school childminders, who can pick him up from school and give him a snack/ dinner if needed. Some work on a flexible basis, others do set days, it'll depend who is in your area x
