Long story short - I have a 9 month old parent works away all the time which has been awful and he is now on holiday. I’ve had enough of doing everything on my own I’m now going to do it on my own.

I have another 2 months of maternity leave before going back to work- how do I find information on universal credit? Hopefully I can come to an arrangement on child maintenance. But just wanted to make sure I can pay all my bills etc the next two months. Thanks please no judgement trying my best

I’d sign up to universal credit now if he’s moved out as it takes 5 weeks to get the first payment. You will have to provide identity documents too so it will be easier to do before you go back to work
