Lone parenting when sick

So ds is 2 and my ex isn't involved at all.

Recently ds is teething again on and off which is waking him at night and making him very clingy. I have a bad dose of the cold and I'm struggling to recover with the super late night's every night and then early mornings. I work full time and my childcare enables me to go to work (mix of family and paid) but my family don't want to do any more than what they are already (fair enough) which allows me to go to work. I just feel like I'm getting so run down and exhausted but ds is so young and full of beans its actually harder to be at home on the sofa than it is being out and on the go as he gets bored and then mischievous. Any tips or advice? I do take supplements and eat well.

I don't have any advice really but I can relate. My son is just under two and I'm on my own also. It's exhausting especially when sick.

We both had a bad cold that lasted two weeks and the broken sleep and lack of energy felt endless. I don't know what I'd do if I was really sick.

It's hard, it's so much easier to be out and about with him as the time goes quickly and he burns off energy. But I never really feel I get a chance to recover

For teething I found nurofen worked better than calpol if that's any help

I dont have any advice but wanted to say having to look after little ones when you're not well yourself is one of life's great injustices. I still can't believe it everytime it happens and no one shows up to take care of me or take the kids away for a bit while I rest. It is brutal.
I hope you feel better soon.
