Email or parenting app.

Would like some guidance from those who have been there re contact around my sons dad.

He's been very difficult and incredibly manipulative for years since the split.

Is email or a parenting app better for space from the bs?

I would like to go absolutely no contact but this doesn't feel an option. Need some contact to arrange school break contact.

I communicate via email with my DS’ Dad. There is a history of stalking/harassment and I did have a restraining order after he broke into our house and assaulted me.

Email feels quite safe to me. I don’t have any ‘pings’ to my phone from him so can check it when I want and I know he can’t delete/edit things once he’s sent them. Gives some space too so there isn’t an instant reply from him.

I looked into apps but couldn’t find one I liked or that was free for the features I wanted. We don’t have a shared calendar or anything because he doesn’t see DSs much and basically agrees to any holiday dates etc I give him.
