Went on a date, he knew what I looked like, I don't have much idea, apart from a vague description.

Genuine guy, but I didn't feel attracted to him.

We are on msn messenger, so i must tel him there, or email him. helives very local, so I want to be friendly and yet honest.

Best to be honest and say you'd rather be mates in my opinion. You may become attracted to him the better you get to know him?

piratecat · 06/05/2008 16:51

how best to say it? I won't get more attracted to him, just can't picture it.

loads of money too, drat!!!!

Just say
Hi thanks for a lovely evening i think we both know this isn't going to be a big romance but it would be lovely if we stay friends x

Just say something like "it would be cool to keep in touch and get to know each other better, but just as friends".

Unless of course you can't even be bothered with a friendship, in which case after just one date I'd just drop all contact, or keep it to a minimum when you have to.

Oh dewar, it's not much fun doing this but best just to be honest. Say you like him but just as a friend.

Actually, do you want to be friends?

Janos · 06/05/2008 19:00

I mean of course 'Oh dear'. LOL.

piratecat · 06/05/2008 19:08

i don't know lol, I havent got any male friends. Any that I have had in the past have been yrs ago, like college.

Any male I have got to know has become a boyfriend etc...

I shall wait till later. God i wish i fancied him, but there we go.
