Hello, I need some advice please. My son had an accident when he was in my ex husbands care. It was bad, so bad he could of have died there, basically he fell off the loft. He broke his hip and a finger and had 6 mths of recovery (still in pain, still not walking properly). My ex husband did not supervised him and was outside of the house when accident happened. I must add son has special needs -autism and epilepsy and is not recognising danger.
I have looked after him every day since. I find it incredibly hard to think I will have to let my child to go there with him. I did allow his dad to come here whenever he wanted to visit our son and I am relatively okay if he takes him out somewhere for afternoon or so but it breaks my heart thinking what if something like that happens again. SS did nothing. Son is 12 but his understanding is of the 5 years old.

YANBU but have you talked to his father about what happened? What is he saying?
