Scarlet fever?

My 3.5yo boy came on with a sudden sore throat and a raging fever yesterday. He threw up a couple of times and had no appetite.
He woke up today much brighter but still running a temp, a slightly upset tummy and has slowly been getting this red bumps on his cheeks. They’re not rough like sandpaper (yet?!) but his back and chest are also very speckled 1 just red and spotty but not raised. Is this a slow burn scarlet fever?! I’m so conflicted.

If it's scarlet fever they usually get a 'strawberry tongue'. My daughter had it at the same time as chicken pox. She had just started school so was exposed to new bugs. She recovered well. Best to take him to a doctor. Good luck!
