Hi all i dont post on here very often im more of a lurker as am often too shy.I am a lone parent to two ds.I wanted some advice as to what to do about my ex.He was abusive to me during our relationship we never had any money as he is a gambler as well and he also cheated on me.Since we split he has been living with his mum(well sleeping on her sofa) and so he says has nowhere to take the boys so i have been letting him see them at mine and sometimes letting him sleep over this is stupid i know but i still feel sorry fr him its like he has a hold over me.Anyway yesterday he was supposed to be coming over but didnt show so i sent him a text saying he isnt welcome here anymore and is going to have to make his own arrangements to see boys.He turned up at mine at 1 am banging on my door he phoned me and said open the door or ill break it down i lied and said was at my mums.What do i do should i get an injunction i just need this to stop now.

You should have called the police at 1am. You should in any event report it to the police as it is unlikely you will get an injunction without any evidence. Perhaps the best thing is to see a solicitor on Tuesday to discuss your chances of getting a restraining order.

You should keep a record of all incidents, such as when he is due to see the dcs and when he doesn't turn up, how much notice he gives, etc. If he decides to apply to the court for a specific contact order, this should help you fight it.
