Tired of struggling

I would like to be able to own a simple three-bedroom home. That's it.

I'm a keyworker. I love my work, it's fulfilling and essential; and I don't think it's unreasonable to be able to expect to own my own home in this so-called 'developed' country.

That's all. As you were.

I’d settle for a 2 bedroom, but here we are.

It sucks all around.

What steps have you taken, so far, to get on the housing ladder?

Ah, happy New Year and thank you for replying! I actually tried to delete this thread yesterday as I changed my mind about sharing. I think I have to contact MNHQ, right? In the meantime, I wish you both a wonderful 2025. 😊

Why delete it?
You're entitled to feel hard done by.

You've committed your working life to a necessary career. Of course you should expect a home to call your own.

The fault doesn't lie with you.

No need to feel embarrassed by venting.

Wishing you lots of good things for the new year 🌺
