Anyone else’s kids not hear from their father at all this Xmas

Just that really…Anyone else’s kids not hear a single thing from their “father” this Xmas?. I feel sorry for them having such a pathetic excuse for a father. No presents not even a card, didn’t expect anything really but I just find it so odd. I didn’t see my father much growing up but without fail he always sent a card at Xmas acknowledging we exist. I bought everything for them and not even a single thing from him doesn’t even pay maintenance.

It's mind blowing. DNs got no call. A card or present was never expected. Bizarrely though, sil has had a message to complain they didn't call him... they are 6 and 8!

Not heard anything since she was 1 - just under 9 years ago. No maintenance either (very clever at dodging CMS)

Yeah my ex suddenly got "ill" so skipped his plans with the dc on xmas eve, didn't bother to see them xmas day, didn't even call or attempt to get in touch. He was due to have them as I had plans but none of us heard anything except how ill he was, maybe even seriously ill, wah wah, so I couldn't go of course and dc couldn't spend time with him as planned.

Today the eldest finally asked if he could video call his dad and ex just pratted around putting stupid filters on his face on the video, didn't bother to apologise for his absence

For context, he gets "ill" quite a lot, strangely when it's time for me to have 1-2 nights away but never when he's got a holiday booked, tickets for football or anything planned for himself. Odd that. Luckily the dc are used to his shitty flakiness. But he's never messed about with Xmas before, it's a new low from him.

Yes. Doesn't help though.
