CMS has been updated showing payments received in July 2024 but I haven't received anything

I don't understand the CMS. My effective period is from February 2024 to February 2025, to date I have received nothing from the paying parent, yet as of last week the CMS portal is showing 4 x 'Previous Payments' of £65.88 (Amount after 4% collection fee deduction including any arrears) in July 2024, the description of which reads 'Direct Pay payment adjustment'.

I look at this portal every week in hope, and there's never any change. Nothing has ever been received from the CMS via collect pay or directly. And now I have a July date alluding to funds being received? I don't understand this, we are in December 2024 and since the beginning of time there's never been anything, as in no money coming to me. and all he has to pay is £14 a week and yes it makes a huge difference.

Anyone understand this? is it that he has written to CMS claiming he has made payments directly to me and fudged the evidence in this regard? could be the reason he is being smug!

I don’t know the answers but my best advice is call them at opening times . They aren’t easy to get through though

As PP said, give them a call first thing tomorrow morning for an explanation. I got a letter from them today which didn’t make sense so I called up and we discussed it.

I tried calling them once before but after being on hold for so long I gave up! I'm so time poor .. anyway, I will try on friday if I have time. thank you @Purplelady1 and @Starlightstarbright4

Oh yes, it’s always at least an hour wait for me before I get through to someone. Just put your phone on loud speaker and go about your day haha!
