How can paying parent close the case?

My cma went up slightly in October, I've just assumed they'd looked at his earnings and have increased it. I've only just looked into the reason why, and it says 'case closure'.
Does anybody have a clue how he would have managed to close the case?

The only reason I can imagine is that he's suddenly claiming he's not the dad (he recently had a new baby with his new gf so assume he wants to abandon payments to my daughter to pay for the new baby), so would payments stop while we have to do a DNA, and they would resume once proven?

Are there any other reasons as to how he could possibly just close the case?
I'll call them tomorrow, just baffled and curious for answers for now.

Never mind, I've opened the pdf file on the account and it says it's due to continue until August 2025. I don't really understand why it says case closure, but at least I know payments aren't due to stop any time soon. I'll call tomorrow and find out

If he originally opened the case then I understand he can close it….

I opened it, I've spoken to them now and it hasn't been closed. No idea why it says that, but as it turns out he's been paying in money I haven't been receiving, so they actually owe me money. Weird but glad I had reason to call in or I'd never have known.
