Hi,

With very little details - which is better for children and why?

A. A separation when children are 2.5 years and 2 months?

B. A separation when children are 3 and 5?

Note - no bad atmosphere with either just debating something.

The first as the children don't remember living with both parents together so it's the normal to them that their parents are separated.

Though the first is harder for the parents as the other parent has to come to see the baby 2-3 times a week for about an hour until the baby is over one, and they can have the baby overnight. On the flip side if the parents are in agreement the other parent can have longer one-to-one time with the older child.

The younger the better so two homes/co-parenting, is normal from as early as possible

The youngest the better IMO. My parents had a horrendous divorce when we were 8 and 10 and it stays with you.
