How does a parent live with themselves after rejecting their child? I just don't get it.
He's a "normal" person, good job, decent family and friends. I just can't get my head round it.
He's even told the grandparents they can't be in the child's life too.
Maybe it's different with mums, maternal instinct and that but I can't understand understand or come to terms with it

Did he ever have a relationship with the child?

If they didn’t want a child, they can easily turn their backs, IMO.

easily as they tell themselves you are the problem also like pp said if the child wasn’t planned then even easier

My ex hasn’t seen his daughter for 20 years! I don’t even know if he is still alive . I think he just can’t be bothered.
