Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm male and in April I found out my ex of 18 years was very close with another male and they wanted to be with them and the ex's friend encouraging them leaving me. I asked my ex about this and she confirmed I asked whether they want to work on this and seek family counselling etc as we have 3 children (been cheated on two times prior my choice to try again). Or as it is unfortunately the case that the mortgage is solely in my name and all bills (again the ex choice) if they don't want to be with me they shouldn't.
The ex chose shouldn't and left as cohabiting wouldn't work for me as I wouldn't be able to live with them being here all of the time and having hope.
Well 3-4 months down the line the children still with me the ex stays at a friend's and does the odd school run and had the children overnight on a couple of occasions. And every now and then when they visit it will become heated as I don't appreciate them being here chatting on the phone in front of me with their new "friend" and have told them on a couple of occasions that I find it disrespectful and to wait until they leave the property to talk to them. This has led to a row again 2-3 times where they now say I threw them out which at no stage I believe I have. The other evening she visited and whilst she was here I went to the shop and her new "friend" Was parked up directly outside my house, this made me so uncomfortable just walking out my own door and on return 45 mins later still there, I told my ex how uncomfortable that made me and they said they didn't know they were going to sit and wait after being dropped off and thought they were going to come back later.
I've neither asked for financial support with the children or even stopped the mobile contract of theirs which is in my name so they can save enough money to get their own place.
Am I being unreasonable or have I been,
