I used to have a CMS case open with my ex we then closed it after we had an agreement, agreement broke down I've opened a case again however he's changed jobs I don't know where he works just the city and his role. My CMS case went to stage 3 contacting the other parent and has been since the 2nd of July.

Does anyone know what would happen if they couldn't get in contact with him, they've confirmed his details, his number, home address and email are up to date. I feel he's purposely ignoring them. He has nothing to do with her by choice, not that I'd let him have contact now after threatening to kill us both 🙄 and has even said he wants me to take full financial responsibility for her which I have for most of her life.

It depends whether they can’t find him or whether they just can’t get in touch with him. If they can’t find him via systems e.g. HMRC then ultimately they just close the case and tell you to come back if/when you have more info. If they just can’t get in touch/he’s ignoring them then they can take enforcement action via courts or arrange for payment to be taken direct from wages etc

It's the get in contact with him. As they have his details confirmed and his home address confirmed. The only information I couldn't give them was his work place just that he's a IT support technician for a school in the area he lives and that I was sure his work hours were 8-5. But they did confirm they found him it's just obviously contacting him but knowing him he'll either block them or ignore them. Can they find his work place via HMRC to take do the court action?
