Can't do this anymore

Honestly don't want to do this anymore, being a single mum has been the hardest most difficult thing I've ever had to do and I just wish I could go back in time and never have children. How people enjoy this I will not understand I just wish there was a Time Machine I am not cut out for parenting alone.

I don't have any advice that will change how you feel right now but I hope you're okay. You sound very fed up from your post.

What is it you're struggling with? Could you speak to a doctor about your low mood?

there is no denying it is tough and certain days tougher than others.

You are doing great, the incredible love and care you give is what our society is based on. You are so important and so valued, even if it doesn't always feel like that.

Parenting is a long game. We've all had times we just want to run away. But you matter too, are you OK? Are you having a vent or is it something more? Myself and others are here if you want to talk xxx

Sorry to hear you're feeling so bad OP. Parenting alone can be incredibly challenging - there are certainly times I've felt pushed to my limit, financially, emotionally, all ways really.

How many children do you have and how old are they?

As the poster above says, people on this board are here to talk and offer support if you need it so keep posting here if it helps. However if your mood is really low and/or you feel you aren't coping it may be worth seeking some more specific mental health support x
