Has anyone dated so that their child(ren) has a father figure? I know my kids would like a father figure. I've been single since their father left and often wondered

You need to look for a father figure from someone you know will always be in your kids life. Not from someone you date who may only be a temporary addition to your life. Otherwise they may end up losing lots of substitute fathers or with a succession of them. And that is not good.
