I place 16 on the council list and then when the bid ends I’m 53rd?

why is this? Doing my head in. I was offered a property 3 weeks before my daughter was born but because she was born they withdrew the offer! Now she’s 4 months old and I’m still in an overcrowded place that’s really toxic . I’m band B and every time I bid just before it ends I’m usually 16/17/20 odd

then when the bidding ends I end up 50/60 sometimes 100

Hi op, it’s because others bid after you and they are higher banding so push you down the list.

you have some way to go before any offers if you are over 100 on the list. There might be 1 or 2 offered a week, but more will join the list every week too, some higher banding than you, some not.

@Ilovethewild but it was 11:58 before budding ending and I was 16th place & bidding ends at 12 . Then the next morning it says 53rd.

It's because Housing Officers put bids on for households in crisis/homeless. So, you can't see those bids during the process.
