Sorry for the silly question but are there any theme parks where children can go on rides alone without a parent? I absolutely hate rides so I'm not prepared to go on any but would like to take my children to a theme park (not peppa pig world!) any suggestions? Chessington maybe or Lego land? Can kids go on the rides without an adult?

Depends very much on the ages surely! Most of the theme parks have guidance on their website saying minimum ages to be accompanied by adults. In my experience it's normally around 7 or 8.

Gullivers kids can go on the majority of rides alone if they are 120cm and a few if they are smaller.

Mainly height restrictions rather than age. My 12 year old has been taking himself off on rides for last few years as he is happy to wait in 90 minute queues for coasters that we aren't or single rider queues. When I take my nephew with us the My 2 kids go off together on the big ones from aged 8 and 11 that has been. So 130cm and below. The main restrictions are the ones that are 90cm with an adult or eg 120cm without. Not sure I have ever seen an age specification apart from 1 ride at thorpe park but think that's the theming rather than the ride!

Thanks all I've checked the heights and she is just a couple of inches too short so will give them a miss
