Child maintenance - what would you do?

I have not received child maintenance (we use child maintenance service direct payment) this month and I’m not in touch with dc father, in fact I have blocked him, because he was abusive. I have no idea why the payments have stopped suddenly. What would you do in this case? Would you unblock him and ask him what is going on? Or would you just contact child maintenance service?

Contact CMS. Expect them to do literally nothing. My ex stopped paying and it took them 10 years!! Yes TEN years, to actually do anything about it. They then got me £5 a week. It was supposed to be backdated (for a few years but not all!) but they decided after 6 years to ask me if they could write off the back payment.

Hell no!! I made sure I got every penny.

Contact CMS because they won't lie to you. When is your annual review? You should be able to view your payment plan for the year, check it.

Flag it with CMS online , do not contact your ex, he is goading you.
