Lone parents - do you find you are more grumpy in general?

I really struggle as I have no external support network. So I find that I often get super grumpy and tetchy as everything builds up, including with my DD.

Do other lone parents get like this? I realise some of it may be age related (peri maybe) but I think it's always been like this.

I am doing everything I can to improve my life, make things easier, find time to relax, exercise etc but I feel bad for my DD when I get grumpy because things are tough and I have little release etc.

Would love to know if other single parents feel this way and how you deal with it if so. Thanks :)

Yes definitely but I have 4 children and their father isn’t involved. I find I’m super snappy. As soon as one kid stops another starts I never get a moments peace. It’s hard to not get grumpy

Yes I am grumpy and zero fun. I think it is because I have no life of my own and I am the only person enforcing any routine, eating habits, general behaviour.
