Hi all,

I applied to CMS 27th September 2023 and a calculation has been made which is all good - but they say first payment is end of November? Is this correct? It's basically 8 weeks from my claim date and all payments are calculated to be the same?

Thank you in advance for your help :)

Mine was the same, I put a claim in beginning of September and my first payment is due the 2nd November off the letter I got but 12th November off a text I got so I was really confused when it’s actually due. To just add to my confusing my kids dad put through a direct payment to me on 4th October for the monthly amount stated so not sure what he was actually told because we have no contact.

Thank you for your reply. There is no contact between me and their father and their won't be. Via the nominated 3rd party I was today told he would have paid some money this month 'but as I decided to take him to court he has a 3k solicitor bill and won't pay' ?! It's money for his children and a totally separate issue. I was advised to apply for a NMO by many agencies and their father decided to not accept it and wants to go to court? I would never dream of not paying for my children 😞
