Fortnightly contact and half of school holidays

Hello,

I went to court yesterday and received the final hearing. Me and my ex partner live 150 miles away and my son is 3 years old.

There was DV when I was pregnant and the court has allowed my ex overnights twice a month and also half of the school holidays.

Is that reasonable?

What contact do other people have? Just curious to know if the judgement is journal or excessive that I have received.

Thank you.

No. Its not reasonable but you need to buckle down and accept it. Unless you have millions to piss away in the court system.

Sounds fine to me. Courts usually allow contact if there was DV if it wasn't to the child speaking from experience of the people i know. My ex has no contact (his own choice )

Who will be doing drop offs as 150 miles is really far.

My abusive ex got 2 overnights a fortnight when our youngest was 7 months and breastfed.

It's not reasonable no but we have to accept it.

Silver lining is my ex got a new gf and now she is a great parent to my kids when they are there
