Wondering how often you mange to holiday with your DC as a single parent? Also do you manage to save for your child too? Also if you had to choose a holiday each year or save for your child which one is more important to you?

I always saved some money each month which was for holidays (nothing fancy but a day or two somewhere nice), birthdays and Christmas. I aim for £100 a month but some months it's nothing!

Dd has a trust fund that the Government set up (they don't do these anymore sadly) and I put a tenner a month into that.
