Hi all..
little one is 3 and been going to Dads overnight since 1 years old.

I still struggle with it... really miss and even have nightmares :(
Little one really struggled with going until maybe 6 months ago so it's good that they seem more comfortable going, but I miss them.

Very tricky with baby dad- we parallel parent .. I find him extremely manipulative so not as though I can FaceTime etc.

Am I ever going to get used to this? :(

I hear you! My two dc go every other weekend and I'm lost without them. I try to keep myself busy doing house chores and diy. I don't really go out so no other real distractions. The house feels empty doesn't it! 😞

I think so. Mine are with me full time and would love a weekend off regularly

I'm 16 months down the line and my boy only stops his dads twice a month and honestly it kills me.

Mine have been going for about 4 years now and we're 6 and 9 at the time. Until then I'd never been apart from them and I'm not sure if that makes it easier or harder. I have got used to it but I do still feel lost. I now work doing a second job in the evenings when they are away which helps keep me busy and helps massively financially too
