Bedtimes multiple kids

How do you do your bedtimes? Sometimes we get it right but sometimes it goes pear-shaped.

Four kids under 12.. I thought having four under 5 was hard. This is a different kind!

Also find it ten times worse with PMDD kicks in.. im also ADHD so it's a lot! At times!

Also... summer time... lighter evenings etc hobbies etc.

They've always kind of been a unit that merge together. So the bedtime is the same for all of them (by choice really as my eldest gets tired at the same time as the youngest mainly!) room sharing also..

Any advice or in a similar boat?

I don't often find people in the same situation as me but I also have 4 kids though they are 12 (oldest) and under. Bed times are a nightmare im not going to lie just saying you are not alone no advice sadly

It is hard isn't it at times? The mental load and physical demand. And the guilt! For being so tired!

Solidarity, although I only have two, under 7.
If it’s any consolation, I think it is partly to do with the light/warm nights.
Ive just had to put my foot down tonight as they’ve been awful recently. I think they need to be taken “back to basics” every now and then otherwise never ending bedtime stories, water drinking, toy fetching etc etc spirals out of control. They were unbearable, so I went and sat on the landing to monitor them from there. Sometimes, if I’m in the room it’s just a circus to get my attention. I don’t have alot of advice, but I’ve been getting mine to take a super quick, tepid body shower while they’re brushing their teeth. Seems to get them comfier and in a better frame of mind for sleep.

Definitely lighter evenings.
Im we've had a bit of a better spell the last week or so.
Hope yours is too.
