Has anyone actually done this?

Say if your ex had the children then needed to bring them home early or cut his contact time down and said he would only be able to have them for 3 hours would you go out so he was unable to bring them back? I've seen this suggested to people and someone actually told me to do this once because my ex won't have the kids overnight. I was told to go out so he is unable to bring them home (I wouldn't) but has anyone actually done this? Just wondered if its one of those things people just suggest knowing that no one will actually do it 😆

Personally, I wouldn't. My child would find it really distressing. However, I understand why people suggest it as it's super frustrating when you're left at short notice changing plans etc.

Yeah I think it's just one of those things people say but never actually do themselves 😅

My ex would randomly return her with no contact before hand, so sometimes I would be out. It seemed to make no difference he would just phone angrily demanding 'where are you' .

Mine still does 10 years on. Drives me crazy I can't ever go out or do anything
