Oh holy hairy bum cracks - have a date and i am bricking it

i have been chatting to a really lovely guy for quite a while. he is pretty gorgeous and we have really had a laugh chatting over msn and a couple of texts.

well last night we were chatting and then he rang me.

we ended up on the phone until 3am! and we have arranged to meet for drinks tonight

i am absolutly bricking it.

i have so far been on 2 dates since leaving my ex. the first wasn't really a date, more of a play date as we both had our DD's the second was him just turning up at the same bar i was with my friends in....and all he wanted was a "friend with benefits" so nothingg really came of it.

give me all of your very best words of encouragment and moral boosting stories please.

oh and WTF do i wear?

lol it is something i heard a boy of about 13 say a little while ago and it has suddenly crept into my vocabulary. its such a great phrase, i love it

I happen to have a haridressing appt in the morning,so if they f my hair up I'll go mad!lol
I hope this is not one of those days when the hair gets wrong,the make up gets wrong etc,you have to feel good about yourself to feel comfortable,don't you?

Have you worked out your outfit yet?(I'm still getting there,look good and be freezing cold,or be warm and look like the michelin man!lol)

my hair is just one more thing to stress me out. do i blow dry and leave it a bit "big"
do i straighten it but run the risk of it looking a bit lank, or do i go ultra glam and try to whack in some curls?

My outift keeps chagning. i have tried on so many combinations (i don't have many clothes anymore)
i have to wear flat shoes which is having a bearing on what i wear (he is only 1" taller than me)

i bought a black maxi dress in the sale a little while ago and it does loko great but the only shoes that seem to look good with it are flip flops (way too cold) or wedges (id be 6'5!)
so thats a no no.

as for how to greet him....are you telling me these to give me more stress tetti
i think i will just follow his lead. if he leans in for a kiss or hug i will react to that.

my heart is going like mad. why do i feel like a pathetic teenager? i used to be a total slut when i was younger.....you'd think this would be child's play

My hair's good(yes!I was dreading a haircut on the same day as the date),my make up is alright'ish,I just don't know if I've gone over the top with it(oops!).
Well hey,one needs help at this age,those darn dark circles under my eyes,hate em!
Ok,skinny jeans,high heeled boots but a casual fitted checked shirt(not used to wearing heels tho,so hope I won't be wobbling around,ha!)

I'm meeting him outside a station too,please don't let him be late.I'll def be bricking it when I see him,god,how will I react,how will it be?Will I be attracted to him?(his pic got rated 10 out of 10 at pof,everyone who voted,gulp!He's a looker there alright,but what about in reality?)
And we have flirted sooo bad on the phone,it came to the point where we both went-Right,we better stop this conversation now before it goes somewhere it shouldn't!
And now,in 2 hrs,I'll be meeting this person face to face,eeek!
And if we do like eachother and flirt half as bad,then we'll be in trouble,good trouble maybe,but nevertheless,phew!

date was really nice....until he went from Jekyll to Hide as soon as his rugby pals arrived at the bar.

He was funny, polite, interesting and asked lots of questions about me which i took as a sign that he was actually interested in ME rather than sex.

but then at about 9:30pm a couple of his friends came into the bar we were at. i dont think it was planned as they didn't seem to realise he was there until they went to get a table and they caught eye contact.
but he just went into full on lad mode.

tbh if he had been like that the whole evening it wouldn't have been so bad, but because he just changed so completley it just seemed odd to me.

So no, doubt it will be leading anywhere. i left him in the pub with his friends as i needed to get the train home.

BUT i took your advice Zippi and i stillhave the other lovely looking men mailing me so may well be doing it all over again next weekend.

Omg,we were both certainly very unlucky,weren't we?
It was the worst date of my life,and hope I'll never have to experience anything like that again.
Were so good to get things back on track with the old toyboy of mine,lol,and he certainly put the smile back on my face yesterday.And boy,was it nice to see a gorgeous man with good teeth,clean really nice clothes,who smelled good enough to eat,and who's not a stick but very muscular just the way I like them!lol

I honestly think the other guy may have been on hard drugs as he was so incredibly gaunt and almost looked anorexic,if he was an addict,it'd certainly explain the very bad teeth and incredibly foul stench!
