What support is offered for single parents?
I work 30 hrs a week in a managerial role and i am a home owner. Any advice would be much appreciated. I am panicking over the though of being by myself. We are not married and have 3 young children. Thank you!

www.entitledto.co.uk/

If its a new application then it will be UC (this may be dependent on where you live as some areas might still do WTC for new claims, I don't know)

If you enter your info into the above website, it should tell you exactly what help you are entitled to and it will depend on your earnings. There isn't as much help for home owners as there is for renters as they won't pay your mortgage like they pay rent.

The calculator should also tell you what help you would get with childcare costs.

You would get 25% off your council tax if you are the only over 18yo in the house. You can also apply to pay your council tax over 12 months instead of 10 months to help with budgeting.

This link will show you how much child maintenance he should be paying. If he disagrees then apply immediately to CMO.
