Me and my girls wee dad have recently split up. He doesn't want any contact with me so I have been speaking to his mum. I had said today his name can message me when he wants his daughter he can have her and his mum replied with if that's the way it's to be he's agreed to go through a lawyer. I don't think I was being unfair in what I said I never said he couldn't see her and I don't realise what I have done so wrong for him not to want to ever speak to me.

For most kids it suits them best of there is a set schedule for contact. It makes everyone’s lives easier tbh. You can actually plan things then. If he would talk to you it would be easier to find out if this is what he is looking for.
Forget about why he isn’t talking to you and focus on providing a secure, stable, loving home for your DD.
In one way texts are handy because you have a record, but sometimes things get lost in translation using texts.
