Council housing and bidding? How long was you waiting? Anybody from Kent?

Hi, I’ve recently been placed on the housing register due to becoming homeless in coming months. I have 2 young children and am a single mum. I got placed on the register at the middle of November so I know it can take a while but on a few properties I have been 1-5 or 6-10 vary rarely am I higher. Does this mean I’m top of the list or is it just a coincidence? How long were people waiting when they reached this point normally? Are any of you from Kent so know how long it typically takes? I’m getting so anxious about the process wanting to be sure we have a home soon.

Hi I’m not in Kent! I’m in NW but just to give u a rough idea I was made homeless start of January last year went into temporary accommodation with my 3 children, went on the housing register in the January was on a 56 day tele duty but didn’t manage to get a house at the end of the 56 days so was offered a main housing duty and went into the full statutory homeless band in April I was bidding for 12 months from January to January this year and finally got offered a property I was rank 4 just waiting to move in next week I needed a 3 bed so hard to get but we finally got one!
