Feeling guilty today

I'm a lone parent to 4 year old. No help from her father or family
I'm so ill today, I have a fever and tonsillitis. It hurts to even move in bed. Poor LO is just with me couped up in my bedroom, admittedly she's been playing with her new Christmas toys, and watching an abundance of peppa pig, but I feel so guilty, we haven't been out the house for a couple of days. I just feel so unbelievably awful today :(

God that's terrible, feel so bad for you. Does she have a friend from preschool whose mum you are friendly with? Most mums would be happy to help and have a playmate for their child.

Oh bless you. Solidarity. Lone parent here too. No help either apart from when he reluctantly sees his dad/vice versa. I had tonsillitis then crashed with illness then got covid and now feel like crap recovering. DS was bored yesterday and I felt guilty because I can't keep pushing myself to do stuff. I need to rest.
