Merry Christmas to you too!
feeling very sad as a single mum. I used to love Christmas but it’s just a reminder to me that I don’t have someone who loves me not to be dramatic but I cried today haha

Merry Christmas! Bet everyone has done a great job! Hope you're all sitting down with a glass of something now.

Hope everyone found some joy today. You are awesome and your children love you for it.

Thank you. I've got DS1 (23) and DS2 (13) here. DS1 cooked lunch while i went for a walk. We'd been to see their grandad (ex's Dad) who's in a care home.
I got myself some gifts and wrapped them so I have some new things (just smellies and a new hot water bottle).
We've played some board games and generally had a calm day.
Ex didn't get a thing for DS2. DS1 has his own relationship with ex and I don't get involved.

Thank you OP, I hope you had a lovely day.

Unfortunately today has been the day I realised I no longer enjoy Christmas 😕 For the past year or so I've actually come to the realisation that I don't feel joy anymore, I just endure each day.

Sorry to put your thread on a downer 😔
