Am I being unreasonable

How would you feel about an abusive ex who walked away from the children 3 years ago. Knocking your front door out of the blue and leaving 3 bars of chocolate on your doorstep. Am I being unreasonable to feel uneasy. He's just out of relationship so I know what's coming next as if the last 3 years didn't happen.

Of course you will feel uneasy. You understand that parents can’t just come and go from their child’s lives whenever it conveniences them. Your ex thinks a bar of chocolate makes it all better.
