Social services closing case

Me and my ex partner had a argument on holiday a few months ago and I called the police as he was threatening and I was scared. The police came took our statements etc got him to leave and it was left at that. I got a letter from social services saying they have been trying to contact me but couldn't get hold of me (I don't have any records of them trying to contact me) but they have closed the case as there is nothing else needed? I am so so worried about this as I've never had the social services involved and I have bad anxiety. Is there anything else I should do? I'm so worried about my baby been taken away.

Why are you worried if they’ve closed the case? I’m Surprised they Closed
it without speaking to you.

You reported domestic violence, that’s an automatic VPD and outside agencies are contacted. You have a kids so social services would have been made aware of your report by the police. They’re not taking your kids away. You could batter each other stupid for years and they’d still not take them away
