Just spent 40 minutes on hold to the CMS to be told 'yeah, nothing else we can do' 😡

4 kids, abusive alcoholic ex husband, he's on benefits, £7 per week for all of them (don't spend it all at once) supposed to be deducted from benefits, no payments for 2 years so far!

Apparently they've been requesting it monthly and the benefit office is saying they can't... why would that be then??? what loophole has he found this time??

When this happened with my ex it was because he had “priority debts”

There was a list online of debt that takes priority over CMS I will see if I can find it but I think CMS was about 7th on the list in terms of priority.

Ask your MP to get involved. They like something like this they can feel they helped someone by getting someone in admin to make a call. But it got some answer for me when I did this
