Is he lying ( maintenance)

Friends left ex as v controlling / gas lighting etc.
Not reliable re maintenance. Not paid last week. Excuse was - someone hacked the account two payments pending that he has no knowledge of.
Bank has suspended account and told him to cut up the card. I thought the bank would reset his online access / password etc - surely they can't stop him accessing his own account? Thoughts?.

When this happened to me no they didn’t stop me accessing my account or tell me to cut up my card. She could just go through the cms then she won’t have to deal with him?

No, usually the bank will cancel the card and issue a new one (in case the details are compromised) but the rest of the account works as normal (Internet/ phone banking)
