CMA arrears

Ex P has been dodging child maintenance since we split 10 years ago.
CM S put a deduction on his salary after 2 years so I started to get some payments. However for the last 3 years he has been working in temporary jobs- never unemployed but has moves jobs 8 times. Each time he moves CMS start a new DOE. This can take up to 4 months - sometimes he has moved jobs again before the DOE takes payment. So far I’ve missed 22 months of payments. My issue is none of these missed payments are counted by CMS towards arrests as they seem to disregard the months of non payments whilst they set up the DOE.
So no arrears built up from the 22 months of non payment.
Ive raised a dissatisfaction’ complaint as they had promised they would seek a direct deduction from his bank account, but have failed to do this.
Has anyone else experienced this ? - it seems to me a prefect way to avoid payments while also avoiding any sanctions from the CMS

Same as you. ExDP changes jobs as soon as a DOE is set up and it takes months to set up a new one, by which time he's moved again. But they do roll over the arrears, so I'm not sure what's happening with your account there

As @dampgreg my arrears keep adding up whilst waiting for the de to start. Then he job hops again. I live in hope of seeing some of the £20k I'm owed but I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks for replying, I’m going to look into it further the arrears have stayed the same at just over 5k for past 2 years. Each time he moves jobs it sets off a new assessment. These seem to have a 2-3 month delay between payments. V strange!
