I have to admit, this year, I swanned past the cards in Sainsbury's and thought, "I don't have to appease this asshole or pretend to be grateful for sweet fuck all... ever again."
Up until now, giving my ex Father's Day cards felt like when teachers give Star of the Week to little Freddie for going 5 days without stabbing someone in the eye. You made it a whole week without being a lethal dickhead to your classmates. Well done, poppet! Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? No! Don't roll up your certificate to blow spitballs through, Freddie! FFS! <Freddie's 5 and already knows how to roll a fat one>

I waved the DC off earlier with Mr Muppetface. He actually bothered to show up for a change so I'm celebrating an entire child-free day, woohoo!

My dear brother, RIP, used to send me father's day cards and I really loved him for that (among other reasons).

My kids father hasn't seen them in over two years, completely ignored all of their birthdays and christmases along with his entire family and I received an email saying it's shit of me not to even send him a card from the kids!!!!
