Olio and Too good to go. Can't get to them as a single mum as they're all on an evening!

Olio and Too good to go look fantastic! There's lots in my area but they are all pick ups when I can't get there. I'm on my own, no support network, it's so frustrating!

Does anyone know of anything similar but that I could access during the day??

Some too good to go meals can be picked up in the day but it's usually buffet style restaurants that want you to take away their lunch stuff so they can prep dinner. I've found places like costa and Starbucks will usually let you pick up from 4, too

I couldn’t be bothered with too good to go, wasn’t worth travelling to the places as most are quite far, I don’t use olio though so don’t know about that one.

I've given surplus food etc away via olio - I work from home so people can pick up pretty much any time. Maybe you just need to keep an eye on it as I'm sure there will be similar people donating in your area?

TooGoodToGo is very hit and miss in my experience, there's only one outlet near me that is worth getting as the rest are pastries etc that frankly I can pick up more cheaply as yellow sticker items or from Aldi/Lidl.

Olio collectors near me often post late at night but say collection for the next morning. I do put the kids in the car in their pyjamas for a nightime Olio collection though.
