CSA checking to see if income gone up?

I have had the same money for xdp for the last 18 months. Can i ask csa to review and check his wages so i get an increase?

Has anyone done this?

I wouldnt bother unless you know he's had a decent payrise. If he's only had say a 3% rise it would barely make a difference. Plus you may end up annoying him if you keep doing it yearly.

you could end up with less it has been known, if you get a decent amount then dont rock the boat

The NRP is under no obligation to inform the CSA of any changes in circumstances.

HE is very reluntant to pay any extra for jabs, school uniform and i know that the comapny that he works for does generous rises.

did you go through the csa to get maintenance or is it a voluntary agreement ? when a NRP pays maintenance they are not obliged to pay out for extras as that is what maintenance is for.

When i contacted csa they told me what he would ned to pay and he tried to lie to them about the income he receives and things he pays out before he takes his wages (sharesave- 250). They tld him what he needed to pay and he pays it but they dont take the moeny and then give it to me.

His income hasnt gone down and this april/march will be the second pay rise/promotion.

In the new tax year (april) he will get a P60 and the csa can ask to see that to show what he has earned in the last year, you could wait to then if you wanted too, although all he would have to do is put that in a pension scheme and the csa cant touch it

he likes to spend the extra on share saves or down the pub and i would much rather ds has it personally. Thanks everyone i will wait till april.

Yes you can ask them to do a new assessment. I have had re-assessments done as ex claimed his wages had gone down and demanded he paid less. His wages had gone down slightly but not enough to decrease CSA payments. The only problem with having a re-assessment is that payments usually stop for about 6 weeks while the assessment is done (well it was in my case, but then i have never had regular payments so it may not happen in your case)

but yes, you can ask for a re-assessment. I have been told they routinely do them about every 2 years anyway

Oh it's hopeless ime...I tried to tell them that ex was earning 500 a week not 100 as he claimed...they ignored my information...he paid £11 a week for a long time. I think it is even less now.
Last time I saw him in december he told me he was 'near the top of his trade' so he really is full of sh*t, either way

He is self employed though. He can say what he likes.
