Easter Holidays as a “single” parent to 3DC.
I say “single” because since splitting with the DC dad, I have since gone on and met someone but we live separately and the DC are obviously my responsibility.

Their dad hasn’t seen them since December 2020 after barely seeing them since the first lockdown (4 times for an hour a time!).
With the energy prices increase and everything else going up, I was expecting a hard Easter holidays.
Its had its moments but mainly, it’s been okay. We survived and the last child heads back to school tomorrow!

I hope the holidays went well for you all too.

Do survive as a lone parent THRIVE and embrace whatever the day throws at you. Lone parent since day 1 and it is what is. 2 bfs in past, nothing too serious. My DCs are happy, healthy, making their footsteps in the sand of life. Take each shit thing deal with it and move along

I love the holidays with the kids. There will be a time very soon that my kids will be off with their mates doing there own thing so I'm happy to make the most of this time. We are lucky to be part of a big family so spending time with others really helps
