i am about, how r u?

northstar · 20/11/2004 17:39

Oh i'm ok now, was having a sorry for myself minute, ds just gone to his dd until tomorrow and I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms. Got about 27 hugs and kisses from ds, and he was very cuddly himself, which in fact was probably the wrong thing to do. Now the house is SO EMPTY and TIDY! But, i have decided to go to the video shop and get a real slushy vid that dp wouldnt watch and a big chocolate mousse from tesco.

What are you up to?

mrsmiawallace · 20/11/2004 20:40

oh oh, think im gonna get boo'd off for daring to cast my opinion on naked painting in nurseries without parents consent...cos i dont think its normal!
what is the world coming too?

tammybear · 20/11/2004 21:03

um... well i dunno what the others are thinking but i would be very offended if i hadnt been told to give me consent!! what are the bloody nurseries thinking of!!!

mrsmiawallace · 20/11/2004 21:22

i know, but seems im the odd one out?

tammybear · 20/11/2004 21:29

god knows. i think its odd

mrsmiawallace · 20/11/2004 21:31

mmm? dp feels very strongly too, hes been dictating messages to me all night! its really got me on one as i feel very strongly about this sort of thing.

northstar · 21/11/2004 13:24

Hey i stayed away last night to give you quality time with dp and here you were ANYWAY! I ate so much food last night im huge today. Swore i wouldnt do this if i ever got pg again but ....no self discipline (thats why im pg in the first place )

OP posts:
tammybear · 21/11/2004 19:49

lol northstar. dont worry about it, just dont make a habit dp staying another night so will try to keep away will probably be lurking later though

THEnorthstar · 03/12/2004 11:32

OMG i told exp that i was pg on wednesday night and i actually would have felt sorry for him if i didnt know he was such a . He was completely lost for words, he had to sit down on the bonnet of my car ( i dont let him into my house since last year).
How are you at the moment? I'm really good because i got the xms decorations down from the loft and there were loads of bits i had forgotten i hadso looks like i wont have to buy anything this year. Are you still getting together with exp for dds birthday? It is my birthday on the same day so i will be thinking of you Do you think your dd is a typical saggitarian - does she love animals and going places?

tammyBEARinggifts · 03/12/2004 11:35

ooo happy birthday for you too then! aww bless your exp if he wasnt such a twat! exp is still coming on dd's birthday found out he isnt over me still so that just makes it worse! putting my decorations up tomorrow, cant wait! got dp and his family coming on 11th, so trying to come up with a dinner to cook that cant possibly go wrong! lol. thinking of doing a semi christmas dinner. do have to say i am a bit worried i am pregnant, havent had my period, although im on the pill and have been worrying the past few months, so going to docs on thurs. so how r u feeling now exp knows?

THEnorthstar · 03/12/2004 11:51

Well im glad i got to tell him as it is a small town and im sure someone else would have let him know over the weekend. Although why we treat them with respect is beyond me! Its obvious your exp isnt over you, thats the reason they behave so obnoxiously badly - men simply cant deal with not being the centre of your universe!!! Even the nice ones have a bit of a problem, so the twats are 100x worse!
OMG imagine if you're pg! It wont be the end of the world though would it? I dont know how you're dealing with the not knowing it would drive me mad. I hope you're gp tells you what you want to hear
I will def. be watching out for your postings coming up to the big days (dp's meal and dd's birthday) will be interesting Wouldnt it be lovely to be wealthy and just treat them to a meal out somewhere? or is that me being lazy?

tammyBEARinggifts · 03/12/2004 11:57

lol, i did think of the meal out but then i thought id have to expect them to pay not a good idea! did just try to ring his mum up now but there was no answer and i dont want dp picking up as i need to speak to his mum about whether its ok for my mum to buy him a scarf. cant remember if he has one. tbh i dont think i could be pregnant as i am on the pill although 2months ago, i forgot 2 of them, but did as the leaflet said so think i should be okay but because i missed 2 it worries me a little, but dp keeps plastering it into my head over and over "what if you're pregnant?" and i think ive gotten myself paranoid now so want to go just to put my mind at rest. you'll probably see a post before dp's family come saying ive burnt the turkey, and a post before dd's birthday saying ive burnt her cake! are you doing anything for your birthday?

THEnorthstar · 03/12/2004 13:28

LOL re all the burning tb, just be careful you dont accidentally burn exp!!!!!
You'd probably know if you were pg, but either way im glad you're going to gp. My mothers and toddlers group has got together with my playschool and they are holding a big cake sale and coffee morning on my birthday - so will go with that for the daytime. Hoping dp will bring me out for a meal later that night, if i'm not too stuffed with cake!

tammyBEARinggifts · 03/12/2004 13:33

ooo thats good about the cakes, saves baking your own Managed to get hold of dp's mum, dp hasnt got a scarf so thats something my mum can get him, and i said about doing a dinner and she was saying not to go to any trouble etc, but shes not sure what time they can come as dp's dad's a postman so is busy, and has to work early in the morning, so not sure if doing a dinner is such a good idea now as they may not be here til late, and they might not be hungry and now im all worried! lol

THEnorthstar · 03/12/2004 13:38

Yea that's a bit awkward alright, it'll be stressful enough without worrying what time to have it all ready for and if they'll be hungry. Can you maybe afford those gorgeous hors'doevres(sp) from marks and spencer that are pre-prepared then you could just whack them into the oven when they arrive? They're all different, not too filling but look and taste really nice. And NO HASSLE.

tammyBEARinggifts · 03/12/2004 13:44

hmmm, maybe that would be better. will have to nose. cant do anything with too much sugar in though as dp's dad is on a strict diet at the moment

THEnorthstar · 03/12/2004 13:45

ok well good luck talk to you nearer the time unless you got news for me sooner

tammyBEARinggifts · 03/12/2004 13:49

lol, thanks. will let u know, but im hoping i already know the answer and its just down to dp being paranoid
