Single Parent Holiday Recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a nice hotel/resort somewhere warm for an Easter break with my 10 year old daughter! Is there anywhere that caters for single parents? It's always so tough to find somewhere that offers enough to do for both the kids and the adults! Would love to hear what other single parents have done. We love swimming, exploring etc! But would also love a nice beach location with kids clubs and entertainment. Any advice would be great!! Thanks Smile

I've never specifically gone for one that says their provision is single parent friendly, as they cost loads more!

With my child, I simply do research re the entertainment for adults and children, look at the reviews, etc in the same way I would if in a 2 parent family.

I also tend to just book a double room as cheaper and tbh, suits my child more!

Within the UK, we've done most of the main hotel chains, lots of caravan type breaks which have pools a d entertainment (ironically the entertainment my child enjoys the most) as well as in Europe.

What's your budget? Have you looked at package holidays to try and make it easier to plan?

Have you tried looking at cruises? I've done a couple and there is usually a kids club and a spa so both me and DD have had enough time together/time apart and lots to do!

Caravan sites are good for evening entertainment and activities with a swimming pool. If you have a car the exploring bit is easy. Haven sites have restaurants/pubs and take always if you don’t like the self catering aspect. I did caravans a lot when my children were young.
