My ex doesn’t pay any maintenance and barely has since we split 5 years ago, I can count on one hand the amount of times he’s paid any money through collect and pay cms.
Apparently he doesn’t work or claim benefits, every so often he will go to benefits for a bit but I still rarely get any payments, I’ve tried to close the case several times but cms won’t close it?! (Whole other thread) but I’m just wondering how is it that when he goes on benefits I still never really get payments anyway? I’ve just received a letter today stating he is claiming benefits again and the summary below will tell me how much I will receive only there is no summary 🤨 but I haven’t had any payment since September when they paid me £28, he will stay on benefits for a couple of months then go off them again so payments never get collected I guess? Why doesn’t cms actually do things to the people that don’t pay?
